10omar on the server is sharing his plot with me but when I put a sign in the plot it says my protection it's exceeded does that mean its not protected?

Players have a limited amount of /cprivates, I believe the server has an error that every sign thats placed is automatically cprivated.
Try /climits, which will tell you how many you have and have left. /cremoveall gets rid of them all
